Mark Wall is Chief Euro Area Economist and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG London. Mark joined Deutsche Bank in 1996 and became Chief Euro Area Economist in 2007. Mark leads the European Economics team and edits the team’s main publication, Focus Europe. Recent research has focused on ECB monetary policy, the impact of asset purchasing, deleveraging, capital flows and financial conditions. The Deutsche Bank European Economics team was ranked #1 for European Economics in the Institutional Investor equity client survey for the last 5 years and fixed income client survey for the last 6 years. Mark has a first-class honours degree in economics from Trinity College Dublin where he was elected a Scholar and awarded a Gold Medal. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mark spent a year in the graduate school of business at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, studying finance and economics at doctoral level.

Wolf-von Rotberg
Senior European Strategist

Wolf is a senior member of the European strategy team. His responsibilities are the earnings forecast, the country-level strategy and some macro-related topics. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2009 as a Eurozone macro analyst, after graduating with an MSc in Finance and a diploma in economics. Before joining the European Equity Strategy team, he worked in the office of Deutsche Bank’s chief economist for three years.

Dirk Aufderheide

Dirk joined Deutsche Asset Management in 1994 with 5 years of industry experience. Prior to his current role, Dirk served as a trader and broker for exchange traded currency and fixed income derivatives in the Global Markets division. Previously, he was a portfolio manager for money market and currency funds. He completed Bank Training Program (“Bankkaufmann”) at Dresdner Bank; Bankfachwirt from IHK Frankfurt.

Rob Bush

Robert joined Deutsche Asset Management in 2015 with 9 years of industry experience. Prior to joining, Robert served as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia Business School. Previously, he worked as an economist at the UK Treasury. Before that, he was a bond, commodities and equity trader. He has his BA in Classics from University College London; Diploma in Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics; MBA in Finance & Economics from Columbia Business School; MSc in Applied Statistics from Oxford University; Investment Management Certificate (IMC); Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
