Mehul Mehta Mehul Mehta Executive Vice President – Investments Greenbacker Capital

Mehul leads all origination and deal execution and oversees the analysis, structuring, and negotiation of all acquisitions. He joined the company in 2016 and prior to this, was an Associate in the Global Renewable Power team at BlackRock where he structured and executed investments in the North American renewables space. He also worked at UBS in Equity Research covering alternative energy and semiconductor capital equipment companies and worked with the COO of Recurrent Energy on construction and operations of solar assets and helped analyze deals for bidding and executing Power Purchase Agreements. Mehul began his career as a power and natural gas options trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics and received his M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Matt Murphy Matt Murphy Chief Operating Officer Greenbacker Capital

Matt oversees operation and maintenance, fleet performance, and technical due diligence on transactions. He joined the firm in 2016 and prior to this, was Director of O&M for Borrego Solar where he oversaw a 500 MW fleet of solar power plants across 11 states, managed a national O&M team and was responsible for the highest level of escalation in the department. Prior to joining Borrego Solar, he worked at the electrical contracting company Peck Electric, where he was instrumental in creating and running Peck’s solar PV division. While at Peck, Matt oversaw the design, developments, construction, and maintenance of over 5 MW of solar PV capacity. Matt also has five years of experience teaching PV construction and troubleshooting to electricians in several states and is NABCEP certified.

Brandon Praznik Brandon Praznik Executive Vice President – Business Development Greenbacker Capital

Brandon is Executive Vice President and is responsible for co-managing the development and execution of all capital raising initiatives across the business. Brandon has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services and alternative investment industry. Previously, Brandon was a regional vice president for Strategic Capital, an open architecture wholesale distribution platform for public and private real estate investment programs, credit and lending programs, and other alternative investments including the distribution of Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company’s public program. He also served as the National Product Manager for energy products at Realty Capital Securities. Brandon started his career at Morgan Stanley performing various roles within the distribution of their investment management platform. Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
