In order to solve one of the most difficult issues facing advisors and their clients today – Finding Yield in a Low Interest Rate Environment – Axio formed “Outcome Driven Strategies” (“ODS”) a JV with Cornerstone Advisory.
ODS broadens the appeal of structured product solutions by providing investors with a fiduciary, systematic investment management of Callable Yield Notes, invested across multiple indices, credits, and time periods. This allows greater diversification, more competitive pricing, and increased performance within the clients’ investments. ODS enables firms to allocate across many investors and look at notes both within model portfolios and as a core allocation in a way they’ve been unable to do before.

Tom Biddison

Tom is a Managing Partner of Cornerstone Advisory and believes clients deserve to work with a fiduciary—someone ethically committed and legally bound to serve clients’ interests first. His clients include high net-worth families, business owners, corporations, and pension plans. Tom began his financial services career in 1994 at AXA Equitable prior to founding Cornerstone Advisory in 2007. He currently serves as the first vice president of the UMMS St. Joseph Hospital Foundation. Tom is also the former chairman of the Maryland Chapter of JDRF. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. Tom is an outdoor enthusiast. He loves fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, golf, skiing and hiking—just about anything active outdoors with his family and friends. He and his wife, Claudine, reside in Hunt Valley with their two children. |

Stephen Czick leads Axio’s Product Strategy & Issuer Relations teams, working with issuers, networks and advisors on ways to keep growing the SP market. He started his career with JPMorgan’s Equity Derivatives & Structured Products teams, before moving over to Credit Suisse to assist in their launch of their RIA & IBD platform and then to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Steve also has experience in selling ETFs & Alternatives. In 2021, Steve led Axio’s efforts with Cornerstone Advisory to launch the first widely available yield-based SP Separately Managed Account platform, bringing systematic and professional management to the growing Callable Yield space. Steve graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Economics. Steve lives in Plymouth, Michigan with his wife Hannah and their dog Martigan and loves screenwriting and playing pickleball in his free time. |
