AllianceBernstein entered the ETF market in September 2022. Given the outlook for rising rates, AB’s first ETFs were short-duration taxable and municipal bond funds. By May 2023, the firm had six new ETF products, including three fixed-income funds and three equity funds. AB’s new ETF lineup raised $700 million in the initial months.
