Paul Santoro, Head of ETF Sales for Capital Group, joined Keith Black, Managing Director of RIA Channel, to discuss the growth of ETFs at Capital Group.
Capital Group launched six ETFs on February 22, 2022, including five equity funds and one fixed-income fund. The equity ETFs bring long-standing institutional strategies to the ETF market. Capital Group later launched another three fixed-income ETFs, each of which is a new strategy that rounds out the product lineup. Today, the AUM of Capital Group ETFs exceeds $9 billion.
Santoro highlighted their largest ETF, CGDV, The Capital Group Dividend Value ETF, which raised over $2 billion during the 2022 rotation from growth to value. In fixed income, Santoro discussed CGSD, The Capital Group Short Duration Income ETF, and CGCP, The Capital Group Core Plus Income ETF. Capital Group plans to launch another five funds by the end of the year.
