Tom Baughman currently serves as Managing Director and National Sales Manager at AXIO by iCapital. AXIO by iCapital is a leading distributor of Structured Products in the U.S. on pace to do over $9B in 2021. They work with 17+ banks in the U.S. that issue Structured Products.
Prior to joining Axio he worked for Merion Capital where he headed the distribution of HSBC retail structured products on the West Coast. Prior to Merion Capital, Tom spent four years at Financial Products, LLC where he was responsible for distribution of Credit Suisse structured products in the Western Region. In addition to his vast structured product experience, Tom has extensive experience working with nonprofit institutions as an Institutional Investment Consultant, primarily at Lancaster Pollard & Company. Prior to his time at Lancaster Pollard, Tom was a Regional Vice President for Advisor’s Asset Management. Tom has also worked with LPL Financial Services and Putnam Investments in both compliance and marketing roles. Tom earned his BA in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and holds the Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses. |
David joined HSBC in August 2018 and is the Global Head of QIS Sales and Marketing. He leads the Quantitative Investment Solutions (QIS) Team responsible for developing, structuring, and marketing rules-based systematic investment strategies for Wealth and Institutional clients around the world. Previously, David held a similar role at BNP Paribas and oversaw the Institutional Structured Notes Business. Prior to BNP, David was a Senior Salesperson in RBC Capital Markets’ Structured Products Group. Prior to this, he spent 4 years with Deutsche Bank Asset Management developing quantitative investment strategies for institutional investors. David graduated with a BA from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. |
