Pedro leads Global X ETFs’ thematic research efforts as a Director of Research. He joined Global X in 2019 as a Research Analyst covering the Thematic Growth suite of ETFs, including those in the Technology, People, and Infrastructure categories. Prior to joining Global X, Pedro held the role of Equity Research Analyst at Cabot Wealth Management where he worked on the firm’s growth-oriented investment strategy, utilizing ETFs to construct multi-asset class portfolios. Pedro earned his MBA from the Bertolon School of Business at Salem State University.

Madeline joined Global X in 2022 as a Research Analyst covering the suite of Thematic Growth ETFs related to the Physical Environment, including Renewable Energy and CleanTech. Prior to joining Global X, Madeline worked as a Power & Renewables Analyst with Fitch Solutions where she covered markets primarily in the Americas. Previously, she held research roles across a wide range of climate change and renewable energy-related topics, including with BloombergNEF, NASA DEVELOP, and the International Food Policy Research Institute. Madeline earned her MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a BS in Physical Geography, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems, and Turkish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mr. Evans is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lithium Americas and is also a director of Lithium Americas since October 2023. He was a Director of Old LAC from June 2017 to October 2023, and served as its President from August of 2018 and as Chief Executive Officer from May of 2019 to October 2023. Mr. Evans has more than 20 years of operations and general management experience across businesses of various sizes and industry applications. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager for the Lithium Division at FMC Corporation (USA), and as the Chief Operating Officer of DiversiTech Corporation, a portfolio company of the private equity group, Permira. Mr. Evans has also held executive management roles at Arysta LifeScience, AMRI Corporation and General Electric. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and an MSc from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Robert Mintak has over 20 years of experience in corporate management, with a specific emphasis on strategic development and corporate governance. With a global network of lithium industry contacts and key opinion leaders, he is a pioneer in the rapidly evolving market for lithium production. Mr. Mintak was recognized as CEO of the top mining companies on the TSXV50 in both 2016 & 2018.

Appointed on July 6, 2017, Mr. Keith Phillips joined Piedmont Lithium with a career spanning 30 years on Wall Street, where he managed strategic and financing transactions representing over $100 billion in aggregate value. Prior to Piedmont Lithium, Mr. Phillips most recently served as a Senior Advisor with merchant banker Maxit Capital, after leading the mining investment banking teams for Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan, and Dahlman Rose. Mr. Phillips has worked with numerous mining companies, including many established global leaders, and has dedicated most of the past decade to advising exploration and development-stage companies in achieving their strategic objectives, with a particular focus on obtaining relevance in the United States capital markets. Mr. Phillips earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University in Canada.

Ernest Scheyder is a senior correspondent for Reuters covering the clean energy transition and critical minerals, as well as the author of the forthcoming book, "The War Below: Lithium, Copper, and the Global Battle to Power our Lives." He previously covered the U.S. shale oil revolution, politics, and the environment. His interest in journalism and writing began when he founded his high school newspaper. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and Columbia Journalism School.
