Speakers:

Sunil H. Thakor, CFA is a Research Analyst and a Sr. Portfolio Manager. Sands Capital is an active, long-term investor in leading growth businesses globally. Mr. Thakor joined Sands Capital as a Research Associate Intern and became a full-time Research Analyst in 2006 following business school. Mr. Thakor later led the research efforts of the firm’s Global Financial Services Sector Team. In 2007, Mr. Thakor became Co-Portfolio Manager of the firm’s Global Growth strategy. He later helped create and launch Global Leaders (2017), International Growth (2018), and Select Leaders (2019) and serves as a Co-Portfolio Manager of each strategy. Prior to joining Sands Capital, Mr. Thakor worked as an Analyst and as an Associate at Charles River Associates, Inc. Mr. Thakor earned a BA from Colby College (1999) and an MBA from Columbia Business School from Columbia University (2006).

Jeffery Markarian is a managing director at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. He is a member of the Investments group, which is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and selection of investment managers for the Harbor Funds and the Harbor Capital Group Trust. Prior to joining Harbor Capital Advisors, Jeff was a senior research consultant at NEPC, LLC. His responsibilities included serving as the lead research representative in Global, International, and Emerging Market equities. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University.
