Grier Eliasek is the President, Co-Founder, and Chief Operating Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Grier has worked in investment management since 1999.

Prior to joining Prospect, Grier served as a consultant with Bain & Company from 1995 to 1998 where he managed engagements for companies in several different industries. At Bain, he analyzed new lines of business, developed market strategies, revamped sales organizations, and improved operational performance.

Grier received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia (where he was a Jefferson Scholar and Rodman Scholar) and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
John Kneisley John Kneisley Managing Director Prospect Capital

John Kneisley is a Managing Director at Prospect and sits on all of Prospect’s investment committees.

John joined Prospect in 2011 and is responsible for investment approval, strategic growth initiatives, and other management functions, including overseeing capital raising for Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, John was a senior member of the private investment group at Silver Point Capital, a credit-oriented hedge fund, and a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. John received his BA summa cum laude from DePauw University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
