Robert DiMella, CFA Robert DiMella, CFA Executive Managing Director and Portfolio Manager MacKay Municipal Managers

Bob joined Mackay Shields in July 2009 when the firm acquired the assets of Mariner Municipal Managers LLC. He was the President and co-founder of Mariner Municipal Managers from 2007 to 2009. Bob has been a municipal portfolio manager since 1992, with a broad range of trading and portfolio management experience in the municipal markets.

Bob was a Managing Director and Co-Head of BlackRock’s Municipal Portfolio Management Group (from 2006 to 2007). Prior to BlackRock’s merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director of the Municipal Products Group. He was employed by Merrill Lynch from 1993 to 2006.

Bob is a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. Bob earned his Master’s degree at Rutgers University Business School and an undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Bill Priest Bill Priest Executive Chairman, Co-CIO and Portfolio Manager Epoch Investment Partners, Inc.

Bill is Executive Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Epoch Investment Partners. He is a portfolio manager for Epoch’s global equity investment strategies and leads the Investment Policy Group, a forum for analyzing broader secular and cyclical trends that Epoch believes will influence investment opportunities. Prior to co-founding Epoch in 2004, Bill was a Co-Managing Partner and portfolio manager at Steinberg Priest & Sloane Capital Management, LLC for three years. Before joining Steinberg Priest, he was a member of the Global Executive Committee of Credit Suisse Asset Management (“CSAM”), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CSAM Americas and CEO and portfolio manager of its predecessor firm, BEA Associates, which he co-founded in 1972. During his 30 year tenure at BEA and CSAM, he developed the firm into a well-recognized investment manager with over $100 billion under management.

Bill is the author of several published articles and papers on investing and finance, including the books The Financial Reality of Pension Funding Under ERISA, Free Cash Flow and Shareholder Yield: New Priorities for the Global Investor, which details the underpinnings of Epoch’s investment approach, and the more recent Winning at Active Management, published by John Wiley & Sons. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a former CPA and a graduate of Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Ian Forrest Ian Forrest Chief Marketing Officer New York Life Investments

Ian Forrest is the Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). He is responsible for NYLIM’s marketing strategies across its entire business, including the firm’s U.S. intermediary and global alternatives and institutional efforts.

Mr. Forrest is a recognized global leader in developing transformational marketing organizations. He served as Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer for the EMEA region at BlackRock Asset Management. In that role, he was responsible for a large marketing team that launched lead generation programs across multiple countries and revamped BlackRock’s digital presence, including social media and web properties. He also led the implementation of a new marketing technology platform that seamlessly integrated with the firm’s Client Relationship Management System.

Previously, Mr. Forrest held several executive roles at GE, including Chief Marketing Officer, GE Capital – GE’s global finance arm, where he helped restore their middle-market lending business following the financial crisis, as well as Chief Marketing Officer positions with both GE Software and GE Appliances. He also served in senior brand and marketing roles with GE Capital in Prague and Dublin.

Mr. Forrest earned an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management and a BS in Economics from the University of Southern California.
