Jason is the founder and chief investment officer of Odyssey Capital Advisors, an independent investment management firm based out of the Philadelphia area. He is responsible for the construction of the firm’s flagship portfolios alongside the company’s internal investment committee. Previously, Jason served as a partner and investment advisor at First Genesis Financial Group, where he worked closely with executives, entrepreneurs, and institutional clients on their respective investment needs. A tireless client advocate who understands the complexities of economics, Jason’s enthusiasm for finance and the intricacies of how a dollar grows is an asset to his clients. However, his true passion lies with people.
Outside of the office, Jason is an active mentor and board member at LaSalle Academy, his alma mater in New York City. He and his family are also involved with the JDRF, a nonprofit that funds type 1 diabetes research. He is an avid reader, currently enjoying titles on compassionate leadership, and looks forward to the next opportunity to travel. Jason is also a contributor on CNBC. He is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Margaret is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, chief operations officer, and chief compliance officer in Austin, TX. Plus, she has cultivated the Durbin Bennett Private Wealth Management, LLC client experience and manages the firm’s human capital, compliance, technology, and other strategic initiatives. She holds an MS in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in both International Relations and East Asian studies from Brown University.
Over her 15+ year tenure in the wealth management industry, she has served in various roles within client service, relationship management, portfolio administration, marketing, compliance, and information technology.
Jeff BlumenthalManaging Director, Western Business DevelopmentSchwab Advisor Services
Jeff manages a Schwab Advisor Services custody sales team located throughout the western half of the U.S. He has been with Schwab since 2004 and previously managed sales in the Northwest, where he helped advisors create successful registered investment advisory firms.
In his current role as Managing Director of Business Development, he leads a team of Business Development Officers who sell the firm’s institutional trading and custody services. In addition, he supports business acquisition strategy, third-party relationship management, and platform development at Schwab.
Previously Jeff was a National Account Manager for Manulife Financial/John Hancock, working with independent broker-dealers. He also wholesaled mutual funds with SAFECO Mutual Funds in Virginia and worked for E*TRADE in New York City. Jeff started his career in the industry as a municipal bond analyst at a boutique brokerage firm in Seattle.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
