Brent Brodeski, CEO, Savant Wealth Management discusses Savant Wealth’s strategic approach to growth, partnerships and building an elite wealth practice.
Co-founded by Brodeski in 1993, the Illinois-based wealth firm grew organically, one client at a time, for nearly two decades before engaging in any acquisitions. Ranked #8 on RIA Channel’s 2022 Top Wealth Managers By Growth in Assets List, Savant Wealth grew by over $4 billion in total assets under management from 2020 to 2021. Inorganic growth through new partnerships allowed Savant to create density in new markets and acquire talent they couldn’t have otherwise hired, explains Brodeski.
Brodeski attributes the success of Savant Wealth Management to be the “venn diagram combination of excellence and growth.” He goes on to say that this intersection of growth and excellence involves the combination of organic and inorganic growth, all with a focus on creating the best environment for their clients, team, and communities they serve. Savant seeks partnerships with advisors who have a strong culture fit, a desire to grow, and aim deliver the best-possible client experience. “When we come together we can be much bigger and better together,” says Brodeski.
On the investment side, Savant Wealth Management’s centralized investment team offers in-house research, due diligence and a playbook of ideas that guides all of their investment decisions. Their investment playbook, driven by some of the industry’s most seasoned professionals, is designed to have flexibility to meet client preferences, complexity, and ultimately achieve long-term wealth goals.
Savant Wealth Management is really in the ‘ideal futures’ business, in which investments are fuel and the financial plan is the vehicle to get clients to their desired outcomes. The firm prioritizes putting tax efficiency at the center of the equation, without losing focus on diversification, low cost, and rebalancing.
Savant Wealth Management is an independent, fee-only wealth management firm that provides financial services and advice to individuals. Just before the recent market pullback, Savant Wealth Management looked over $14 billion of assets, 8000 clients, over 250 employees, which is expected to be a lot higher by the end of the year.
