Michael Hudgins is a real estate research expert who joined the Hines Proprietary Research Group in 2017. In the industry since 1993, his experience has covered the real estate life cycle from construction to investment management. He is frequently tapped to speak at industry events and has authored many white papers and articles for industry publications, including PREA Quarterly.

Prior to Hines, Michael worked for Ell Capital Management where he chaired its Global Investment Committee, and prior to that, for JP Morgan Asset Management in the Global Real Assets and Equities groups, where he provided clients with strategic real estate investment insights.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College, as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.
