Not Available For On Demand. 2020 was dubbed the “Year of the SPAC” raising $83B in issuance. This year we’ve already eclipsed that mark with over $100B issued. This growth is enough to raise eyebrows and attention from retail investors to SEC regulators. The spotlight and recent scrutiny on Special Purpose Acquisition Corporations (SPACs) is warranted, but to fully grasp the true story and total potential, advisors need an understanding of their unique underlying features and operating structure – then how to invest in them, attract clients with them, and grow AUM as a result. Wealthspring Capital is an investment firm dedicated to SPACs. We offer investment strategies that aim to capitalize on the overlooked and unrealized potential that exists within SPACs. We mine the entire SPAC life cycle: dissecting, analyzing, and selectively participating in every aspect from SPAC to DeSPAC. In this informative and client-centric session on SPACs, managing partners, Matthew Simpson and David Gallers will reveal the complexities and mechanics of the SPAC ecosystem.
