Matt Hougan is one of the world’s leading experts on crypto, ETFs, and financial technology. He is the Chief Investment Officer for Bitwise Asset Management, the world’s largest provider of cryptocurrency index funds. He was previously CEO of ETF.com and Inside ETFs, where he helped build the world’s first ETF data and analytics system, the leading ETF media site, and the world’s largest ETF conference.

Matt is co-author of two publications for the CFA Institute Research Foundation: “A Comprehensive Guide to Exchange-Traded Funds” and “Cryptoassets: The Guide to Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies for Professional Investors.” He is a crypto columnist for Forbes, a three-time member of the Barron’s ETF Roundtable, a member of the ETFdb’s ETF Hall of Fame, and the eighth person to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from ETF.com for contributions to the ETF industry.

Hougan sits on the board of directors for Equbot, creator of the first AI-driven ETFs (in partnership with IBM Watson), and is a strategic advisor to multiple crypto- and financial advisor-related startups, including Blockworks, Stratifi, Advisor Circle, and Exchange.

Katherine Dowling serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Bitwise Asset Management. She previously served in General Counsel, CCO, and COO roles at several financial firms, and was a co-founder, Managing Director and COO of Luminate Capital Partners, a software private equity firm. A Harvard Law graduate, Katherine spent 10+ years as a federal prosecutor, most recently in the Economic Crimes Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, where she worked with the FBI, SEC, IRS and other agencies to prosecute insider trading, fraud, Ponzi schemes and money laundering cases, among others.

Adam Blumberg Adam Blumberg Co-Founder Interaxis

Adam has been in Financial Services for over 12 years, starting with an insurance Broker/dealer, and moving to his own RIA, started with his partner, Ron Dixon.

He is also the co-founder of Interaxis, a company dedicated to educating financial professionals about Digital Assets, Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, and other alternative assets. The YouTube channel they created has over 9,000 subscribers.

In 2021 they created and launched a course and Certification to teach Financial Advisors how to make Crypto and Digital Assets part of their practice. They have educated over 200 advisors through this course, and thousands of others through virtual presentations all over the world.

In May 2021 they helped launch PlannerDAO, the first decentralized community for financial advisors. PlannerDAO has grown to over 700 members.
