Speakers:

Steven is the founder of LCX Life and has been active in the life settlement industry since 2003. Steven is also a current member of the Board of Directors of LISA, the Life Insurance Settlement Association, the oldest and largest trade organization in the life settlement industry, having previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board.

Steven has extensive experience in life settlements, strategic consulting, investment banking advisory services, and private equity investing. Previously, Mr. Shapiro was the President of MARK Partners LLC, a merchant banking boutique he founded in 2001. Mr. Shapiro has extensive experience in strategic consulting, investment banking advisory services, and private equity investing. Mr. Shapiro has held positions with several private equity and investment banking partnerships, including The Blackstone Group, LP and Centre Partners Management LLC. Mr. Shapiro holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard Beleutz is AIR Asset Management’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic direction and driving growth. Mr. Beleutz is the Chair of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee and a member of the Brokerage Committee and Leadership Committee. Mr. Beleutz has over 30 years of experience in various capacities in the investment industry. He has closed over $1B in transactions for companies and investment products, possesses extensive deal experience in private equity and investment banking, and has an operations background as a former principal of three hedge funds. Mr. Beleutz has a well-established track record in the life settlements space, which began in 2006 when he launched his first life settlement hedge fund with a life settlement brokerage business and a life expectancy company. His life insurance and annuities background dates to 1993, when he began his career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise. Mr. Beleutz is considered a thought leader in alternative investments and actively participates in industry interviews and conferences. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and holds Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, and 79 securities registrations.
