Matthew Murphy, CFS Matthew Murphy, CFS Head of Product Specialists Janus Henderson Investors

Matthew Murphy is Head of Product Specialists at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2024. In this role, he leads a global team of subject matter experts across all regions, channels and vehicle types, positioning investment strategies through marketing collateral, engagement with clients and prospects, and product training for internal partners. Additionally, he works closely with the investment teams, representing research-driven growth and value equity strategies, including real estate, to institutional and intermediary clients globally. Matthew joined the firm as a product specialist in 2019 and became head of North America product specialists in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, he held various positions at Jackson National Life Distributors from 2009, most recently as assistant vice president, where he was responsible for relationship management, investment platform management, sales and marketing, and training and education for sub-advised mandates. Before Jackson National Life, he was with Welton Street Investments, LLC from 2007.

Matthew received a bachelor of science degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. He is a Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS) and holds a FINRA Series 7 securities license. He has 17 years of financial industry experience.


Julian McManus Julian McManus Portfolio Manager Janus Henderson Investors

Julian McManus is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Alpha Equity Team at Janus Henderson Investors. He served as a research analyst alongside his portfolio manager duties until 2023. Previously, Julian was an assistant portfolio manager from 2014 to 2017. Prior to joining Janus as an analyst in 2004, he worked at Everest Capital in Florida, where he managed two Japanese long-short funds. He also spent six years at Lazard Asset Management in Tokyo as a Japanese equity analyst and portfolio manager.

Julian received his bachelor of arts degree in Japanese and law from the University of London, where he graduated with honours. He has 30 years of financial industry experience.
