David LaValle is President of CoinDesk Indices and Data, a portfolio company of Bullish Group, a leading institutional digital asset trading platform. LaValle has over two decades of experience across both traditional financial services and digital assets, with a track record of leadership in executive roles and business expansion.

His expertise spans information services and the exchange-traded product ecosystem, including trading, indexing, data, regulation, distribution, capital markets, and exchanges.

Previously, LaValle served as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of ETFs at Grayscale Investments where he was responsible for leading the strategic development and management of Grayscale’s ETF business. In that role, he spearheaded the company’s efforts to uplist Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (ticker: GBTC) to the NYSE and commence trading of the first crypto ETP in the US, a groundbreaking milestone for the ETF and crypto markets.

Prior to joining Grayscale, LaValle was Chief Executive Officer of VettaFi (formerly Alerian), a global index, data and analytics firm. In that role, he was responsible for all facets of the business including leading the firm’s growth and business transformation strategy.

LaValle’s career also includes senior leadership roles at State Street Global Advisors as US Head of SPDR ETF Capital Markets, and at Nasdaq, where he built and led the Exchange Traded Product Marketplace.

A graduate of Georgetown University (BA), LaValle began his career in trading on the floors of the New York and American Stock Exchanges before moving into senior leadership roles across the financial industry. He served on the board of the Security Traders Association of New York (STANY) and currently sits on the advisory board of the Wall Street Rides FAR charity initiative.

Inkoo Kang is Senior Vice President of ETFs at Grayscale Investments and joined the firm in 2021. Prior to joining Grayscale, Inkooserved as V.P. of Product Development and Institutional Strategy at Direxion Investments, a leading ETF issuer focused on leveraged and inverse ETFs and products delivering unique exposures and structures. During that time, Inkoo was responsible for product strategy, research, and development for the Direxion ETF franchise. Inkoo was also responsible for strategy and engagement with end users as a Product Specialist for Direxion Investments. 

Inkoo has more than 10 years of experience that spans almost every function of an ETF issuer. Prior to his work in Product Development, Inkoo served as a Portfolio Manager for a wide range of ETPs, including leveraged and inverse ETFs and thematic ETFs, and has experience in a wide range of assets, ranging from single stocks and index funds, to index derivatives and commodities futures. Inkoo received his B.S. in Finance from Elon University.

Akshay BD is a Vice President at Solana Foundation, where he focuses on growing adoption of Solana, a high performance network powering internet capital markets, payments, and crypto application. Prior to joining Solana Foundation, Akshay spent five years at Uber as the company’s head of public policy, where he was instrumental in driving Uber’s expansion across India. He is also the founder of the community incubator SuperteamDAO. Akshay is based in Dubai.

Zach Pandl is MD, Head of Research at Grayscale Investments. Prior to joining Grayscale Zach worked as a macroeconomist and markets strategist at a variety of Wall Street firms, including Goldman Sachs, Nomura Securities, and Lehman Brothers. Zach holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from the University of St. Thomas and a master’s degree in economics from New York University.
